A quick moving line of thunderstorms produced a series of microbursts that resulted in tremendous damage across a one and a half to two square mile area of Harrisville. Numerous trees 12 to 24 inches in diameter were downed. Structural damage appeared to be limited to approximately a dozen buildings. One structure was severely damaged by a fallen tree on Eastside Road. Another tree was downed onto the roof of a porch near Silver Lake and another destroyed a boat trailer at the same house.
Fifteen utility poles in North Hinsdale were downed by thunderstorm winds. Other wind related damage in Hinsdale, includes, trees and wires downed in Indian Acres, a tree downed on a trailer and a car, and several ten inch diameter branches were snapped off by thunderstorm winds.
In Hinsdale: trees on Old Chesterfield Road were downed by thunderstorm winds. On Gateway Drive, a tree was downed onto a house. In Winchester: trees on Tamarack Road were downed by thunderstorm winds. Trees were downed onto two homes, one on Snow Road and another on Forest Lake Road. Another tree fell on a car on Keene Road.
