Tornado touched down four miles southwest of Upland. Several farm buildings were destroyed and a house damaged. The tornado moved northeast in Kearney county with touchdowns eight miles south and four miles Minden. It crossed the Platte river east of Kearney. Funnel clouds were reported in eastern Buffalo county with 60 mph wind gusts at the Kearney Interstate 80 interchange. The tornado was last seen 1 1/2 miles east of Wood River in southwest Hall county.
This tornado touched down in far northeastern Adams County and continued into far southeastern Hall County. This tornado impacted three farmsteads. The maximum wind speed estimate of 100 MPH was based upon the collapse of an outbuilding at one farmstead. Partial roof loss was noted at one home, while another home had some superficial damage. Similar to other tornadoes, more irrigation pivots were overturned. The tornadic circulation probably crossed Highway 281 near the fuel supply facility south of Doniphan before lifting a mile or so south of Doniphan.
This tornado touched down approximately 2 miles south of Doniphan and moved north before lifting on the south edge of Doniphan. The tornado was rated an EF-0 with a maximum wind speed estimated to be 75 MPH. This rating was based on damage to an outbuilding and nearby home. The damage to the home was caused by flying debris from the outbuilding. Other structures in the area sustained minor damage, such as broken windows, damage to soffits and garage doors. ||The path was determined from a combination of storm survey information, video, radar data, and other reports. Several reports indicate the possibility of other small circulations near the parent tornado, but the most reliable path information is related to the main parent circulation as given.
