Thunderstorm winds blew down numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines in an area from the Stone Meadows Subdivision northeastward towards the GM Plant that is north of I-70 and east of U.S. Highway 61. The width of the damage path was about half a mile to a mile wide. Also, numerous light poles were blown down in parking lots and a couple of small sheds sustained minor to moderate damage. A semi was blown over onto a car on east bound I-70 near the Highway A exit. One person sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital. In the Stone Meadows Subdivision, one house sustained a large section of siding damage and a house two doors down lost about half of its roof.
Widespread tree damage across St. Charles County. Numerous tree limbs, trees and power lines were blown down in Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, Saint Peters, Weldon Spring, Cottleville, Harvester, Saint Charles and Orchard Farms. A large wooden fence was blown over in O'Fallon. Also, a large tree was blown onto a house in St. Peters causing moderate roof damage.
Thunderstorm winds caused damage to multiple structures in St. Charles County. A roof was removed from an older, open-side car/boat shed along Wilson Road in St. Charles. A barn in northwest St. Charles County sustained significant damage. Winds also broke 3 power poles.
