Numerous trees were uprooted and buildings demolished by high wind gusts. A 96-foot greenhouse, three barns, a wellhouse, several windows, and fences were heavily damaged on one farm. A mobile home and two out-buildings were also damaged at a second location. Reported by the county sheriff office and a county newspaper.
Ham radio operators reported an overturned tractor-semitrailer along Interstate 44 from high wind. A section of the interstate was closed for a short time. Homes received minor damage and numerous trees were blown down in Rolla.
