What the reports say

A lumber truck was overturned. Several homes and businesses suffered roof damage and had windows blown out of them. Numerous power lines, telephone lines and trees were blown down with some of the trees landing on houses.
Straight-line winds caused minor damage to Belmont High School. Various trees and power lines were knocked down on the property as well. Three houses were damaged. A tree fell on one house and two had roof damage. The tin roof of a church was partially removed.
A trailer was destroyed in Paden. A roof was blown off a gas station in Tishomingo. Several homes suffered shingle damage and blown out windows. Other trailers, roofs and sheds were damaged. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down.
