Straight line winds damaged a mobile home at the intersection of Egypt and Whiterock roads in the Cedar Creek area. The porch was removed and flipped over the mobile home damaging an automobile. Scattered trees were also knocked down. In total one home and one mobile home had minor damage in Monroe County. One farm building suffered major damage while another had minor damage.
Straight line winds knocked down trees in Prairie. An outbuilding that was bolted to concrete footers was ripped off of its foundation and thrown into the trees south of Aberdeen. One of the footers was also lodged 30 feet high in a tree.
Straight line winds produced widespread damage along Lackey Road, McDuffie Cemetery Road, Markham Drive and Pickle Road, east of Aberdeen. Numerous trees were knocked down. Damage also occurred to a couple of sheds, a carport, and an outbuilding. A tree also fell down onto a house. Two other homes sustained minor damage as well.
