Straight line winds blew power lines and about 70 trees down county-wide including the area near Holly Springs, where a tree fell on a house. A tree also fell on a mobile home in Hudsonville where two women were slightly injured. Many county roads were blocked by fallen trees.
Straight line winds blew a number of trees and power lines down and shingles off of houses near the intersection of Highway 4 and 309 in the vicinity of Chulahoma. One tree fell on a mobile home near Tucker Road as well. In addition, two mobile homes near Holly Springs also received damage from falling trees.
Straight line winds knocked a tree down onto a house in Byhalia. A car wash also destroyed from the wind. Several additional trees and power lines were knocked down as well. Some of the trees fell onto houses causing considerable damage.
