Straight line winds knocked down power lines and destroyed a trailer along County Road 115, just off of Highway 341. Another building along Highway 341 was knocked down as well. A school bus was also picked up and moved on the same property. In addition, a nearby satellite dish was pulled from the concrete base it sat in. Numerous trees were knocked down in the area.
Trees were knocked down at Highway 330 and Highway 32. Several trees were blown down on Highway 9. A tree was knocked down on a house on North McSwayn Street in Bruce. A tree fell on a vehicle on County Road 125 just north of Highway 32. Another tree hit an awning on County Road 136.
Straight line winds blew a roof off of the back portion of Calhoun Furniture II in Calhoun City. In addition, numerous power lines were also knocked down resulting in a 16 hour power outage for Calhoun City. Also, trees were knocked down in Vardaman Park in the city of Vardaman. The trees damaged some playground equipment.
