The stream gage on the St. Mary's River near Great Mills rose above flood stage during the specified timeframe, reaching a peak stream level of 6.13 feet at 11:45 PM EST. At 6 feet, Flat Iron Road begins to flood with water in some yards in Great Mills.
The stream gage on the St. Mary's River near Great Mills rose above flood stage during the specified timeframe, reaching a peak stream level of 8.63 feet at 9:30 AM EST. At 8 feet, Indian Bridge Road begins to flood as flooding becomes more widespread in Great Mills.
Following a rapid rise above flood stage, the Saint Mary's River at Great Mills remained above flood stage during the time indicated. Flat Iron Road and other area roads were flooded. The peak level observed was 7.90 feet at 8:45pm on May 19th.
