Road in and near Converse, Louisiana were flooded. Numerous other roads across the parish were also flooded. Several roads and bridges also washed out across the parish. Flooding was spotted at the intersection of Highway 171 and San Antonio Avenue, Elizabeth Street and at the intersection of Highway 171 and Smith Street and on Buffalo Drive. Several automobiles were flooded in town including one in which a man had to wade out of his car to safety. A boater on nearby Toledo Bend Reservoir barely escaped injury when his boat overturned as it was pinned against a bridge. Culverts and parish roadways were washed out near the town of Zwolle, Louisiana. Other roadways closed from flood water included Belmont Road as well as Blue Lake Road, Highway 1216 and Highway 175.
Severe flooding was reported throughout the entire parish. Numerous roads were under water and had to be closed including all major roads leading into Many, Louisiana. Water entered some homes and businesses in town with a few reports of evacuations. Between 100 to 150 cars suffered extensive water damage as well. No monetary damage estimate was available for this publication.
Excessive heavy rainfall that began during the late night hours of the 15th and continued into the evening hours of the 16th left much of the parish flooded. Numerous roads were closed including some secondary roads which were washed out in the southern portions of the parish. Rainfall totals for the event ranged from near 5 inches in the northern portions of the parish to near 12 inches in the southwest portions of the parish.
