A storm damaged at least 3 buildings around Jennings including a business that had its roof torn off and a cinder block wall cracked. Power was also cut to some residents in the area. Winds were estimated to be between 50 and 75 mph.
An area just north of Lowry, along Hwy 14 and Hwy 3056, saw|several trees blown down or snapped, 5 to 10 homes received roof damage,|a telephone pole snapped, several other poles bent, and several garages or|outbuildings had wind damage. Estimated winds were 107 MPH and damage was along a path 2.6 miles long and 1.5 mile wide.
