A swath of damaging winds north of Lake Providence caused numerous trees, power poles, and power lines to have been blown down. Substantial damage occurred to the Shelburn Fire Station and numerous homes were damaged. A tree fell on a house on Highland Road.
A nursing home in town sustained some minor roof damage. A storage shed, on the side of the building, was moved off its blocks and had its roof blown off. Additionally, a few power lines were blown down with a few trees snapped.
Powerlines were blown down along Highland Drive north northwest of Lake Providence. Another powerline was blown down off Homestead Road south southeast of Lake Providence. Trees and powerlines were blown down across the city of Lake Providence.
