Water was over Coopertown Road nine miles north of Russellville. The bridge was impassable. Numerous roads in the town of Russellville were closed due to high water. At Lewisburg, water from the Mud River was over the road near Highways 106E and 106W.
Local law enforcement reported a vehicle was submerged up to the roof with water on Emerson Bypass due to excessive heavy rainfall. A small house in a valley was flooded. Many roads in the area were closed as a result of the flash flooding.
Water was reported over State Highway 79 south of Russellville. Standing water on Gordonsville Road caused an injury accident. Two inches of rain in an hour and a half was measured by the Kentucky Mesonet station just west of Russellville.
