The Lincoln County emergency manager reported that a barn was blown down on Mt. Salem Road due to severe thunderstorm winds. There was also roof damage to multiple other barns in the area. Two metal silos overturned and damaged.
A porch and part of a roof was torn off of a home. An outbuilding was flattened, and a cattle trailer was overturned. Fifteen to twenty trees were downed along a quarter mile stretch of Edwards Road. Winds were estimated at 90 to 95 mph by a NWS remote survey.
Multiple instances of structural damage from strong winds were observed between Stanford and Crab Orchard. Barns were damaged, galvanized steel roof panels were removed, a chimney was destroyed, and a silo was also damaged.
