Randolph County Airport at Winchester measured 88 mph winds at 0230 EST. Approximately one half dozen barns sustained significant damage to their walls and roofs near and northeast of Winchester. Numerous trees were blown down in the east end of the county at Union City around 0240 EST.
A 2 to 3 door garage was blown 10 to 15 feet off its foundation due to damaging thunderstorm wind gusts. Also, a two story brick home was reportedly had its roof ripped off and a partial wall collapse on the south southwest corner of the house.
Numerous trees were down between State Road 1 and U.S. Hwy 27. Trees were also reported down between County Road 300 S and 600 S. Damaging thunderstorm wind gusts also damaged a wall of a farmhouse at 2886 W and 300 S.
