Trees and power lines were reported down in Culver, just north of Bremen and Bourbon. Several houses sustained damage as a result of large trees falling onto parts of each house. Some of the houses were occupied at the time, but no injuries were reported. Part of a roof from a factory in Bourbon was blown off. A motorists had to be rescued after the vehicle he was in became entangled in power lines from downed poles. In Argos, a large tree limb fell onto a swing where a family had just moved from to take shelter as the storm approached.
Trees down across much of Marshall County, with a large portion across the northern end of the county along US 6. A couple of trees in La Paz fell and hit power lines that caused residential fires, but they were quickly extinquished.
Trained spotters reported numerous trees down in Bremen. In addition, a local newspaper reported that the Bremen Ford dealership had several showroom windows blown out with some water damage. A nearby Chevrolet dealership found a hold in the rear window on a delivery van, but no evidence of what caused the damage. Damage is estimated in the area at $25,000.
