Wind gusts estimated to be 70 mph blew a new machine shed over at a farm on Creamery Rd about 3 miles southwest of Morrison, IL around 6 pm CDT May 22. The doors of the shed had yet to be attached. The shed fell onto a tractor and semi-truck that were inside.
Wind gusts estimated to be 70 mph blew down a large tree at Avenue J and 6th St in Sterling, IL around 615 pm June 27. The tree snapped some power lines and blocked the road. Several other smaller branches were also blown down.
Storms entered Whiteside county south of Albany at around 1555 CST. Numerous trees and power lines were felled from Albany to Coleta. Based on radar data and spotter reports, the following times (all CST) have been established; Albany 1600-1605, Morrison 1615-1620, Coleta 1620-1630.
