There were numerous reports of large hail across Fairview Heights. The largest hail stones were tennis ball size reported near the intersection of I-64 and Bunkum Road. Also, numerous roofs sustained shingle damage and numerous cars sustained dents from the hail stones.
Several large trees were knocked down in Dupo and wind gusts as high as 70 mph were reported by ham radio spotters in Belleville. Quarter-size hail was also reported in Freeburg and dime-size hail was reported in Mascoutah.
