What the reports say

Largo Fire Department and Pinellas Emergency Management reported damage to 15 manufactured homes at Pointe West Mobile Home Park near Largo, with 7 of the homes deemed uninhabitable. Radar at the time indicated intense straight-line winds in excess of 60 mph to which the damage was attributed. No injuries were reported.
A 200 foot communication tower collapsed mid way up the tower. Wind damage to trees at the surface suggested wind gusts at 60 MPH, while winds at the top of the tower were estimated at over 110 MPH. Downburst and tornadic wind damage occurred along an eleven mile path from Indian Rocks Beach to the Saint Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that thunderstorm winds downed several power poles and overturned a semi-tractor trailer onto a vehicle along the northern end of the Sunshine Skywarn Bridge (I-275) in extreme southern Pinellas county.
