Heavy rainfall from strong gradient northeast flow. Observation sites, COOP Observers and Storm Spotters report 2 to 4 inches of rainfall during this period across portions of northeast Florida. Fernandina Beach reported 3.31 inches of rain, Hastings, Nassau County reported 1.06 inches.
The weather station at the Green Cove Springs Water Treatment Plant measured 4.95 inches of rainfall between about 10 pm 8/2 to 2 am on 8/3. Surrounding stations measured 3 to 5 inches. This data is courtesy of the Wundermap interface.
