Severe thunderstorms in Kingman initially produced high winds and hail and then heavy rain with high winds in a second wave. The winds of the latter event overturned cars and blew a mobile home completely off of its foundation. The heavy rain flooded washes and city streets prompting search and rescue missions to save some trapped motorists.
