Numerous roads were flooded throughout Limestone County. One bridge was washed out near the Lester Community and a few others were closed. A few roads were also washed completely out. Several area businesses were flooded. Radar and newspaper estimates indicated that the area received two to five inches of rainfall on already saturated ground. Many area rivers and creeks were high which added to the runoff problems.
Numerous roads were flooded throughout southern Limestone County and many were closed several hours. One bridge was washed out on Gardner Hollow Road. Radar estimated two to three inches of rain in a short period of time on already saturated ground.
Three to five inches of rainfall produced caused some roads to be closed across central Limestone county. Some of the roads closed included: Wooley Spring road, Norris Mill road, Line road, and Cowford road. Other roads affected included: Parker, Bethel, Meyers, Seven Mile Post, and Capshaw road.
