An NWS Storm Survey found a path of straight line wind damage from 200 to 400 yards wide that was 2 miles long. The worst damage along the path occurred near the County Road 85 area just north of Highway 90 where 6 single family homes experienced significant structural damage to roofs and walls. Several out buildings and smaller structures were also destroyed near several residences along the path.
Severe thunderstorm winds of 60 to 70 mph resulted in the downing of numerous trees and power lines in and around the city of Robertsdale. Baldwin County EMA reports 4 homes and 2 commercial buildings were damaged. 68 downed trees from across the city had to be removed.
A line of severe thunderstorms moved through the county between 1125 pm and 1215 am. Trees and power lines were blown down throughout the county. The north and west part of the county had the most damage. Some of the trees fell on a couple of homes causing minor damage in the Bay Minette area. No major injuries were reported.
