State officials reported that thunderstorm winds caused electrical lines to fall onto the roadway along PR-368 near kilometer 8.5 in the Sus��a Alta area of Yauco. The downed lines obstructed traffic and were in close proximity to nearby residences.
Emergency managers reported flooding from waters of Quebrada Berrench��n, affecting a portion of PR-335 around KM 0.5, near the Water Treatment Plant in Yauco. The road became temporarily impassable and was closed by emergency managers.
A 24 year old women and her two children, two and three years old were rescued due to Barranchin creek out of its banks at road 335, km 1.0. Also, a 66 year old men was stranded in flood waters at road 335, km 0.9 at Barrio Barinas. He also was rescued.
