A landslide was reported by the 911 Call Center, affecting portions of Road PR-615 in Barrio Pozas, Ciales, near kilometer 3.8, close to a bridge and a local body shop. The landslide rendered the road impassable and caused damage to nearby communication and power lines.
Emergency manager from Ciales reported mudslides across roads PR-608, PR-614 near Km 5.0. Also, in Barrio Pozas sector Hoyo and another mudslide affected a residence in sector Pozo Muro. In Addition, the Rio Barbas flood waters damaged a bridge.
Municipal officials and local media reported multiple downed trees and power lines along PR-146 in Ciales during the afternoon close to km 23.6. Roads were blocked and emergency crews were dispatched to clear debris. Impacts were associated with gusty winds from Hurricane Erin's outer bands.
