Quarter to baseball sized hail in the Conroe area. Roof damage at a department store on I-45 with extensive damage to over 1000 automobiles at several dealerships. Damage to a furniture store and church with widespread damage in residential areas to carports and automobiles. At least 28 windows smashed at a fire station in Conroe with at least 75 patrol cars severely damaged.
A tornado was reported near Lake Conroe at the Seven Coves subdivision. It destroyed a home under construction and uprooted several large trees. Some residents did report hearing freight train like sounds as the storm passed through.
F1 tornado on the south side of Conroe caused significant roof, window and wall damage to around eight residential homes in the Rivershire Subdivision and a few local businesses, including a car dealership that had signs and light poles blown down onto parked vehicles. A nearby church and motel also had roof damage (ceramic tile from the motel impaled into dealership's walls). Trees were also snapped or uprooted in the area.
