Four to six inches of rain fell across portions of central and southern Logan County, flooding numerous roads and homes in the Bellefontaine and West Liberty areas. Several county roads and culverts were damaged from the flash flooding.
Major flooding continued in Lakeview as 25 additional families were evacuated. Three-fourths of the town was underwater as rain came to an end late in the evening. The total number of homes affected by the week of flooding in the county were close to 200.
Numerous trees and large branches were downed across the area due to damaging thunderstorm winds. Some of the branches were blocking the Route 33 and 68 exit ramp. Roof damage also occurred to several buildings in the area.
