What the reports say

Strong microburst winds produced some damage to mainly the western side of Cheyenne, including a report of a trailer blown into a power pole. Some|damage to signage occurred along with damage to a dugout building at a local ballpark. Some hail up to 3/4 inch in diameter was also reported.
Observer noted hail up to quarters accumulating to a depth of three to four inches deep. Their greenhouse was damaged by the wind driven hail. They also lost a goat and a few chickens. Localized flooding of yard noted as well.
A peak wind gust of 72 mph was measured by the ASOS wind sensor at the Cheyenne Regional Airport at 25/1548L. Downburst winds downed trees and damaged a garage door at a residence along US Highway 85 about six miles north of Cheyenne.
