A sporadic path of wind damage was found from just outside of Gilman northeast to the Taylor/Price County line near County Road N. The damage consisted of several trees blown down, some of which blocked roads, and a power pole down along Babit Avenue near Gilman.
A large area of low pressure over the Upper Mississippi Valley triggered isolated severe thunderstorms over northwest, north-central, and southwest Wisconsin. Hail up to nickel-size fell and there were reports of large trees and power lines downed by the powerful winds in Bloomingdale (Vernon County), and in Medford (Taylor County).
