A NWS Storm Survey determined that a downburst blew down hundreds of trees along a broad swath from 4 miles SSW of Deer Park, to 9 miles north of Baldwin. The trees were blown down from the north, northeast or east. There was roof damage to one local business.
The sheriff's office relayed reports of roof damage to an apartment building. A subsequent damage survey noted that part of the roof was blown off the building and estimated wind speeds of 75 to 85 mph. Several hundred trees were either broken or uprooted in North Hudson.
Metal bleachers at the New Richmond High School were blown into a fence. Several trees were also blown down. New Richmond Airport also measured a wind gust of 51 mph, and a home weather station near New Richmond measured a 57 mph wind gust.
