At 450 PM EDT, in Glen Dale, a large tree blew down on Rte 2. By 5 PM EDT in Benwood, large trees had blown down. By 5 PM, large trees and power lines were down in Fork Ridge, Limestone, Sherrard, and Big Wheeling Creek area.
Torrential thunderstorm rains produced flash flooding across the Moundsville area. Several roads were closed and some minor residential flooding was reported. Runoff from the rains produced damage at the high school construction site.
60 mph wind gusts toppled trees and power lines. One tree fell on house on Nixon Ridge. Areas where fallen trees blocked roads: Fork Ridge Rd, Aston Ridge, Glen Easton, Irish Ridge, Birch Ridge, Dry Ridge, and Pine Hill.
