Numerous trees and large branches were blown down. Electricity was lost to nearly 2,000 customers. One home was destroyed, 3 had major damage, and 4 others had minor damage. The public infrastructure damage assessment was around $325,000.
Several trees were downed in and around the town of Clay. This included a tree with power lines down near a home along Dog Run Road, a tree near the Clay County High School, and a tree downed onto Elk River Road. Trees also blocked the roadways of southbound Route 16, Wide Road, and Heartland, where power lines were also downed.
