Straight line wind damage occurred in Greensville county and south southeast of Emporia. The initial damage was on Interstate 95 where a couple of trees were downed on the roadway. The damage then continued eastward south of Emporia where trees were downed and snapped off, and some minor property damage occurred, especially in the area of Low Ground Road and Little Low Ground Road.
