Fauquier County Emergency Management reported several roads closed due to high water across the county. Springs Road near the Rappahannock River had nearly a foot of standing water. There was 4 feet of standing water measured on Route 651 near Tin Pot Run.
The stream gage on the Rappahannock River at Remington exceeded the 15 foot flood stage during the times indicated. The peak level of 16.44 feet occurred at 8:30pm EST on May 19th. At these levels, roads are flooded along Tinpot Run due to backwater.

Tin Pot Lane and Summerduck Road were flooded due to backwater effects on Tin Pot Run. The peak level of 18.45 feet occurred at 2:45 PM on the 16th.
